Biografie (Henry Winterfeld)
Henry Winterfeld (1901-1990) wurde in Hamburg geboren, studierte Musik in Berlin und lebte bis zu seinem Tod als Jugendschriftsteller und Filmautor in Maine, USA. Seine Werke schrieb er hauptsächlich auf Deutsch, viele von ihnen wurden in mehrere Sprachen übersetzt. Sein größter Erfolg sind die Romane über den römischen Schuljungen Caius.
