Biography
Daniel Woodrell, 1953 geboren, wächst in St. Louis und Kansas City auf. Mit siebzehn verlässt er die Highschool und meldet sich bei den Marines. Nach dem College nimmt er am renommierten "Iowa Writers Workshop" teil. Sein Romandebüt "Cajun-Blues" erscheint 1986. Daniel Woodrell lebt mit seiner Frau in Missouri.
