Abigail Gibbs hat im Alter von nur 18 Jahren einen Bestseller verfasst: Ihr Debüt "Dark Heroine. Dinner mit einem Vampir" erschien kapitelweise auf der englischen Social-Reading-Plattform Wattpad, wo das Manuskript über 17 Millionen Mal gelesen wurde. Kurz darauf erhielt Abigail Gibbs einen Verlagsvertrag; seitdem wurde "Dark Heroine" in 17 Sprachen übersetzt. Die Autorin lebt in England und studiert an der University of Oxford.
