Vic Chesnutt Wurde von Michael Stipe von R. E.M. entdeckt, der wie viele Fans später, seine traurigen Songs, seinen verschrobenen Humor und seine poetischen Texte schätzte. Sein viertes Album von 1995 wird nun als 180g schweres Doppel-Vinyl wiederveröffentlicht. Damit ist diese teuer gehandelte Rarität nun mit sieben Bonustracks neu aufgelegt.
Vic Chesnutt war seit seinem Autounfall 1983 von der Hüfte abwärts gelähmt, was in der Folge zum Missbrauch von Schmerzmitteln und Alkohol führte. Trotz dieser Belastungen veröffentlichte er in seiner Karriere 17 Alben / EPs. Am 25. Dezember 2009 nahm sich Vic Chesnutt das Leben.
