Die zweite Supershow der Rolling Stones »From The Vault«: »L.A. Forum (Live In 1975)«
Schluss mit schlechten Bootlegs – her mit legendären Konzerten. Das ist das Credo der Reihe »The Rolling Stones: From The Vault«, in der jetzt die zweite Ausgabe erscheint: »L.A. Forum (Live In 1975)«. In gut zwei Monaten absolvierten die Stones im Sommer 1975 die ›Tour Of The Americas‹ mit 44 Konzerten. In Los Angeles spielten sie vom 9. bis 13. Juli fünf Abende in Folge: »From The Vault – L.A. Forum (Live In 1975)« zeigt das Konzert vom 12. Juli 1975.
Eine Besonderheit ist der Konzertmitschnitt aus dem L.A. Forum von 1975 auch deshalb, weil bei der Americas-Tour zum ersten Mal Ronnie Wood als Gitarrist dabei war. Die gesamten zweieinhalb Stunden des Konzertes mit den Rolling Stones sind hier in voller Länge zu sehen. Das Filmmaterial wurde liebevoll restauriert, der Ton von Bob Clearmountain neu abgemischt. Auf der Setlist stehen unter anderem »Honky Tonk Women«, »Gimme Shelter«, »You Can’t Always Get What You Want«, »Tumbling Dice«, »Brown Sugar«, »Midnight Rambler«, »Jumpin’ Jack Flash«, »Sympathy For The Devil«.
