»Get Shot« war das sechste Album der Schwedenrocker um Kristofer Aström. Das soundtechnisch gewohnt exzellent produzierte Werk erschien 2003 nach einer dreijährigen Schaffenspause und ist nun erstmals auch als LP erhältlich. Bei laut. de befand man seinerzeit: »Mit ›Get Shot‹ ist Fireside auf jeden Fall ein ziemlich intelligent durchdachtes, aber keinesfalls konstruiertes Rockalbum gelungen.« Und kulturnews. de attestierte dem Quartett aus Lulea: »Konsequent setzen Fireside die auf ›Elite‹ eingeschlagene Richtung fort. Reich an Soundfülle und mit einigen kauzigen Kanten braucht ›Get Shot‹ einige Durchläufe, bis es sich richtig erschließt. Dann aber ist es eine amtliche Rockplatte mit Hormonschub- und Achselschweiß-Garantie.« Damit wäre eigentlich alles gesagt.
