Father John Mistys bahnbrechendes zweites Album aus dem Jahr 2015, »I Love You, Honeybear«, ist zurück auf Vinyl, remastered und neu verpackt als Einzel-LP. Ursprünglich wurde es als Doppel-LP veröffentlicht. Das Album wird mittlerweile als Klassiker angesehen und enthält die Fan-Favoriten »Chateau Lobby #4 (in C for Two Virgins)« und den Titelsong »I Love You, Honeybear«.
Bei der Veröffentlichung erhielt »I Love You, Honeybear« viel Kritikerlob, u. a. Pitchfork Best New Music, eine perfekte Bewertung von Exclaim! und begeisterte Kritiken von NME, Mojo, Q, Spin und anderen. Es wurde als eines der besten Alben des Jahres 2015 von Pitchfork, Billboard, The A. V. Club, NME und Stereogum gefeiert. »I Love You, Honeybear« wurde von Josh Tillman und Jonathan Wilson produziert und von Phil Ek gemischt. Diese 2025er Ausgabe wurde 2024 von Adam Ayan bei Ayan Mastering neu gemastert. Diese Erstpressung kommt auf rotem Vinyl.
