Zuma ist das siebte Studioalbum von Neil Young. Unter Mitwirkung von Crazy Horse enthält es "Cortez the Killer", einen von Youngs bekanntesten Songs. Bei der Veröffentlichung erreichte es Platz 25 der Billboard 200. Im Jahr 1997 erhielt das Album eine RIAA-Gold-Zertifizierung.
Bud Scopa schrieb am 15. Januar 1976 im Rolling Stone: „Neil Youngs neunte Soloplatte, Zuma, ist bei weitem das beste Album, das er je gemacht hat. Es ist das zusammenhängendste Konzeptalbum, das mir je untergekommen ist, auch wenn ich das nicht gleich gemerkt habe.“
