Otello
The Blu-Ray was developed as a high-definition successor to the DVD and offers a significantly increased data rate and storage capacity compared to its predecessor. Blu-Rays can therefore store movies with significantly better resolution and offer enormously high picture quality on corresponding screens. Blu-Ray players are usually backward compatible with DVDs, so that they can also be played.
DVDMost of the offered DVDs have the region code 2 for Europe and the PAL picture format. However, we also offer releases from the USA, which come on the market in NTSC format and with the country code 1. This is then indicated in our item details.

Diese außergewöhnliche Inszenierung von Giuseppe Verdis hochpopulärer Oper Otello macht sich besondere Rückprojektionseffekte zu Nutze, die eigens für die Freiluftarena von Sferisterio entworfen wurden, in der diese Oper aufgeführt wurde.
Mit Stuart Neill steht einer der populärsten und durch Stimme und körperliche Präsenz imposantesten Vertreter dieser Rolle als Otello auf der Bühne. Diese Operninszenierung gewann 2015 in Italien den Preis als beste neue Opernchoreografie!
Die gesamte Breite der riesigen Freiluftbühne der monumentalen Arena wird genutzt und wird mit Licht und Projektionseffekten bespielt, wie man sie vorher noch nicht gesehen hat. Fazit: Eine aufsehende Otello-Aufführung, wie man sie nicht jeden Tag erlebt!
