Die Fortsetzung der Fast & The Furious Reihe – Fast & the Furious 8 – spielt wie gewohnt mit Vin Diesel, Dwayne »The Rock« Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson und Ludacris. Diesmal ist jedoch ebenfalls niemand geringeres als Oscar- und Golden-Globe Preisträgerin Charlize Theron mit dabei.

Eine absolute Starbesetzung liefert auch der Soundtrack zu Fast & the Furious 8. Die erste Single »Go Off « beigesteuert von Lil Uzi Vert, Quavo & Travis Scott liefert bereits einen großartigen Start zum Film-Hype. Weitere Songs von Superstars wie Pitbull, G-Eazy, Kehlani, Young Thug, Wiz Khalifa, Lil Yachty, Migos u. v.m. sind auf dem Soundtrack enthalten.
