The cascading, instrumental debut from Parisian duo, WuW. »Rien Ne Nous Sera Épargné« – A dark and heavy progressive soundtrack for appreciators of Magma, King Crimson and Godspeed! You Black Emperor.
WuW is the creative outpouring of two brothers, both classically trained percussionists and veterans of the Paris music scene. Having played in jazz ensembles, classical contemporary orchestras, world-music troupes and alongside traditional Middle Eastern musicians – this striving for challenging playing and evocative musical atmospheres all enriched the vast sound-collage that became WuW.
Following on from previous affiliations with ABRAHMA (Small Stone), BLAAK HEAT (Svart Records / Tee Pee Records) and SONNY SIMMONS & MOKSHA SAMNYASIN (Svart Records), the WuW duo entered their own studio armed with Tibetan bowls and cymbals, African small bells played with goat nails and an array of old synthesizers and electric organs to lay down the essence of »Rien Ne Nous Sera Épargné« in as few takes as possible to capture the raw beauty of the creative act.
