Wovenwar vereint die Talente von Jordan Mancino, Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso und Josh Gilbert des aus San Diego, Kalifornien stammenden Metalacts As I Lay Dying, sowie Shane Blay (Gesang) von Oh, Sleeper.
Im letzten Jahr hat die Band die Arbeiten an neuem Material fertiggestellt und es mit Produzent Bill Stevenson (Descendents, Black Flag) aufgenommen, abgemischt wurde das Album von Colin Richardson (Slipknot, Machine Head, Trivium) abgemischt.
Bereits vor der Veröffentlichung des Albums schaffte es die Band namenhafte Festivals wie das Pukkelpop oder Reading Festival von sich zu überzeugen. Zudem wurde die Band für eine ausgedehnte Tour im Herbst 2014 mit In Flames bestätigt!
