Willies Ensemble bestand an diesem Abend (23. Februar 1984) aus seiner Schwester Bobbie Nelson am Klavier, Paul English am Schlagzeug, Grady Martin an der Gitarre, Jody Payne an Gesang und Gitarre, Bee Spears am Bass und Mickey Raphael an der Mundharmonika.
