Sechs Live-Shows auf 8 CDs, »Access All Areas: Live« fängt die unverfälschte Begeisterung von Whitesnake in voller Fahrt ein, live auf der Bühne.
Zum Auftakt mit »Live... In The Still Of The Night« wird der legendäre Rocksänger David Coverdale von Doug Aldrich und Reb Beach an der Leadgitarre, dem langjährigen Whitesnake-Schlagzeuger Tommy Aldridge und Marco Mendoza am Bass unterstützt. Aufgenommen in Londons kultigem Hammersmith Apollo im Jahr 2004, enthält das Set die großen MTV-Hits »Is This Love, Here I Go Again« und »Still Of The Night«.
»Live... In The Still Of The Night« auf CD2 und CD3 wurde auf der Welttournee 2006 aufgenommen und führt mit Don't Break My Heart Again und Take Me With You zurück in die frühen Tage von Whitesnake. »Made In Japan« zeigt die Band als Headliner des riesigen Loud Park Festivals in Japan im Jahr 2011 (CDs 3 & 4).
»Made In Britain« zeigt die Band 2011 auf der »Forevermore«-Tour in Davids Heimatland, was nicht weiter verwunderlich ist.
»The World Tour« wurde ebenfalls 2011 auf der »Forevermore«-Tournee aufgenommen und enthält Hits wie The Deeper The Love sowie den neueren Bühnenfavoriten »Can You Hear The Wind Blow«.
Dieses 8-Scheiben-Set endet genau dort, wo Davids musikalische Odyssee begann, mit »The Purple Tour Live«. Zusammen mit dem Lead-Gitarristen Joel Hoekstra spielen Whitesnake Songs aus den frühen Tagen von Davids Karriere mit Deep Purple, darunter »Burn«, »The Gypsy«, »Mistreated« und »Soldier Of Fortune«.
