›Whisky Fingers‹ ist das mit Spannung erwartete vierte Studioalbum der Classic Hard Rocker Voodoo Circle. Der Nachfolger des international sehr erfolgreichen ›More Than One Way Home‹ (Europaweite Chartplatzierungen, u. a. Platz 54 in Deutschland) besticht erneut durch fantastisches Songwriting, die großartige Stimme von David Readman und eine Band in Topform. Voodoo Circle wurde 2008 von Gitarrist Alex Beyrodt ins Leben gerufen. Beyrodt (bekannt von Silent Force, Primal Fear und Sinner) verfolgt das Ziel, den klassischen Hard Rock (im Stile der Großmeister aus den 70er und 80er Jahren) wiederzuerwecken. Sound mit Live-Feeling, der ebenso Platz für ausgiebige Jams bietet – darum geht es bei Voodoo Circle. Die Band war Ende 2014 mit den Rock-Legenden Uriah Heep auf Deutschland-Tour und konnte sich dort zahlreiche neue Fans erspielen, bevor man erneut das Studio enterte, um an Album #4 zu arbeiten. Hier war dann der neue Keyboarder Alessandro del Vecchio (MelodicRock. com ›Produzent des Jahres‹) für Mix und Mastering von ›Whisky Fingers‹ zuständig. Nicht nur seinem Zutun ist zu verdanken, dass Voodoo Circle hier ihr ultimatives Meisterstück abgeliefert haben!
