Das First Team bestand aus sieben Songwriter-Duos: Jerry Leiber & Mike Stoller, Gerry Goffin & Carole King, Doc Pomus & Mort Shuman, Neil Sedaka & Howard Greenfield, Burt Bacharach & Hal David, Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, und Jeff Barry & Ellie Greenwich. Andere bedeutende Brill Building Songwriter waren Ben Raleigh, Jack Keller, Bob Hilliard, Phil Spector, Bert Berns, Hank Hunter, Helen Miller, Tony Powers, Larry Kolber, Tommy Boyce, Mark Barkan, Bobby Darin und andere. Die Begleitband zu drei weiteren Jasmine-Brill-Building-Kompilationen, ist »All Girls Edition«, die mit bekannten Namen wie The Shirelles, Dionne Warwick, Timi Yuro, Connie Francis Francis, Carole King, Brenda Lee, Jackie DeShannon, Ruth Brown und vielen mehr aufwarten kann.
