Nun erscheint nach dem erfolgreichen ersten Teil von Deadpool – dem Anti-Helden des Marvel-Universums – der zweite Teil in den Kinos. Die Titelrollen spielen die Hollywoodstars Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin (Fernsehserie Gotham) und Josh Brolin.
Den Score komponierte der US-amerikanische Musikproduzent, Komponist und Musiker Tyler Bates, der vor allem als Leadgitarrist der Band Marilyn Manson bekannt ist. Er komponierte auch bereits die actiongeladene Musik zu den beiden beliebten Guardians of the Galaxy-Filmen sowie zu John Wick: Chapter 2 und zu dem Film Atomic Blonde.
