Toyahs Studioalbum »Love Is The Law« von 1983 war das letzte Album für das Safari-Label. Diese neue remasterte und erweiterte Deluxe-Edition folgt der gefeierten Serie von remasterten Deluxe-Editionen von vier Studioalben und vier Live-Alben, die die Aufnahmegeschichte der Band von 1979-1983 dokumentieren.
Das Album, das im November 1983 Platz 28 der britischen Albumcharts erreichte, wurde von Toyah, Joel Bogen und Simon Darlow geschrieben und aufgenommen, während Toyah die Hauptrolle in der erfolgreichen Theaterproduktion von Trafford Tanzi im Mermaid Theatre spielte.
Neben der Vorabsingle »Rebel Run« enthält das Album auch die Fan-Favoriten »Dreamscape«, »Martian Cowboy« und einen von Toyahs persönlichen Langzeit-Favoriten, »I Explode«. Beim Titeltrack singt eine Gruppe von Fans den Refrain des Songs, nachdem sie an einem Abend im August 1983 in die Marquee Studios in Soho eingeladen wurden. Der letzte Song der zweiten Seite, »The Vow«, wurde im Dezember 1983 als zweite Single veröffentlicht.
Neben Toyah und Joel Bogen (Co-Autor / Gitarren) spielte Simon Darlow die Keyboards auf dem Album. Phil Spalding steuerte bei mehreren Stücken des Albums den Bass bei, während als Gäste der Bassist Brad Lang (The Lexicon of Love) und Andy Duncan (Wham!'s »Fantastic«-Album) am Schlagzeug / Percussion zu hören waren.
