Zur Feier des 40-jährigen Jubiläums von Tina Turners Hit-Album »Private Dancer« erscheint diese Deluxe-Edition als 5CD/BR-Box mit dem 2015 neu gemasterten Album, Bonusmaterial, Remixen, Audioaufnahmen von der Private Dancer-Tour und einer Blu-Ray der 55-minütigen Show, die auch Auftritte von David Bowie und Bryan Adams enthält.
»Private Dancer« katapultierte Tina zum Superstar und verkaufte allein in den USA 5 Millionen Exemplare. Es enthielt die Nummer-1-Single What's Love Got To Do With It sowie die Top-10-Hits »Let's Stay Together« und »Private Dancer«, geschrieben von Dire-Straits-Sänger / Gitarrist Mark Knopfler. Tina räumte bei den Grammy Awards 1985 ab und erhielt 4 Auszeichnungen, darunter Record Of The Year, Song of the Year und Best Vocal Performance.
