»Derelicts of Dialect« ist das zweite und letzte Studioalbum des New Yorker Hip-Hop-Trios 3rd Bass. Es wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 1991 veröffentlicht.
Die Aufnahmesessions fanden in den Chung King Studios, Greene St. Recording und Calliope Studios in New York City statt. Die Produktion wurde hauptsächlich von 3rd Bass selbst, zusammen mit Prince Paul, Sam Sever, John Gamble, Dante Ross und Geeby Dajani und KMD ausgearbeitet. Das Album enthält Gastauftritte von Chubb Rock, KMD, Nice & Smooth. Das Album ist bekannt für seine stilistische Vielfalt (sowohl musikalisch als auch textlich) und zeigt Einflüsse von De La Soul bis hin zu A Tribe Called Quest. Mehrere amüsante Anekdoten und Sketche auf dem Album sind von 3 Feet High and Rising beeinflusst.
