The Night Game ist das neue Projekt des in Boston geborenen 31-jährigen Songwriters, Produzenten und Sängers Martin Johnson.
Martin kann bereits auf 9 Top40 Singles und über 10 Mio. verkaufte Songs zurückblicken: Er war bereits als Frontmann in der 2000er Popband Boys Like Girls aktiv, bevor er sich dem Songwriting und Produktion widmete – u.a. auch für eine Vielzahl von Künstlerkollegen wie z.B. Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, Kygo (auf dessen Track »Kids In Love« Martin nicht nur zu hören ist, er schrieb den Track auch mit), Jason Derulo etc.
Die vom Grammy Gewinner Francois Tetaz co-produzierte Single »The Outfield« (> 4 Mio. Streams weltweit), die nach einem Hit der Synth-Pop-Ära klingt, erntete direkt Komplimente von The Fader, Billboard und Noisey. Diese erklärten den Song ungeniert zum »zukünftigen Klassiker«. Auch die Singles »Bad Girls Don't Cry« & »Once In A Lifetime« bleiben im Ohr!
