»Anthology – A Very British Synthesizer Group« ist die Geschichte von The Human League; Großbritanien’s Antwort auf Kraftwerk – obwohl sie sich schon für elektronische Musik interessierten, also Kraftwerk ihren großen Durchbruch mit Autobahn 1975 feierten. The Human League nahm zum ersten Mal 1977 Songs auf – dasselbe Jahr wie Bowies Album »Low«, der einst The Human League mit den Worten »I have seen the future of pop music« beschrieb.
Die Anthologie wird als limitierte 3CD/DVD Super Deluxe Box, als 3LP und 2CD Deluxe veröffentlicht. Alle Formate beinhalten acht Top 10 Singles, und natürlich den Nummer 1 Hit »Don’t You Want Me«, sowie sechs weitere Top 20 Hits.
