Das Big Three Trio war ein äußerst beliebter Nachtclub-Act, der insbesondere an Jukebox-Betreiber beträchtliche Mengen Platten verkaufte. Obwohl sie angeblich eine Bluesgruppe waren, hatten sie dank ihrer dreistimmigen Harmonien eine direkte Verbindung zu den Jump-Jive- Gesangsgruppen der 1930er Jahre. Diese Songs wurden zwischen 1946 und 1952 aufgenommen.
