    The Beatles: Live At The Hollywood Bowl on LP

    Ihr erstes Konzert in der berühmten Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles spielten die Beatles am 23. August 1964. Die Aufnahmen des Dreispurtonbandgeräts waren jedoch von so schlechter Qualität, dass man von einer Veröffentlichung absah. Zwei weitere Konzertaufnahmen vom 29. und 30. August 1965 reichten ebenfalls zunächst nicht für einen Release.

    Da die Nachfrage nach einem Livealbum mit der Zeit jedoch immer größer wurde, setzte sich Beatles-Produzent George Martin an die Aufnahmen. Das Resultat erschien 13 Jahre später: »The Beatles: Live At The Hollywood Bowl«. 2016 wurde das legendäre Livealbum jetzt überarbeitet und sogar noch erweitert.
