»Brothers In Arms« das zweite Sunstorm Album mit dem neuen Leadsänger Ronnie Romero (Michael Schenker, Lords of Black) und das siebte Longplay Album ihrer Geschichte. Romeros Debütalbum mit Sunstorm, »Afterlife«, wurde Anfang 2021 veröffentlicht und verjüngte Sunstorms frühere musikalischer Formel, indem sie Melodic Rock / AOR mit mehr 70er-Jahre-orientiertem Hardrock, a la Rainbow mischte.
Dieses Rezept wird auf »Brothers In Arms« mit dem neuen Gitarristen Luca Princiotta (Doro, Blaze) perfektioniert, der sich der Besetzung von Romero, Bassist Nik Mazzucconi, Schlagzeuger Michele Sanna und Keyboarder Alessandro Del Vecchio anschließt. Romero überzeugte bereits auf »Afterlife« mit seinem kraftvollen Gesangsstil. Elemente des melodischeren Sounds von Rainbow und Deep Purple, gemischt mit dem Sound von Foreigner und Classic Melodic Rock.
