Die brasilianische Thrash Metal Band um Frontmann Max Cavalera hat mit ihrer eklektischen Mischung aus Thrash, Nu Metal und brasilianischen Rhythmuselementen weltweit ein Millionenpublikum begeistert. 1998 jedoch stand die Band noch ganz am Anfang ihrer Karriere und hatte ihr Debütalbum »Soulfly« frisch im Gepäck, als sie beim Dynamo Festival auftrat – einer ihrer ersten Auftritte überhaupt vor großem Publikum. Bei ihrem umwerfenden Set spielte die Band natürlich Songs aus dem Debütalbum, aber auch Sepultura-Klassiker wie »Beneath The Remains« oder »Roots Bloody Roots«. Als Special Guests sind Chino Moreno (Deftones) auf einem Track und Benji Webbe (Skindred und Dub War) auf zwei Tracks mit von der Partie. Dieser Livemitschnitt zeigt auf, wie bärenstark Cavalera und seine Mannen 1998 auftraten, und sich so ihre loyale Fangemeinde erspielt haben.
