Septic Tank, das langjährige Projekt mit dem Sänger Lee Dorrian (ex-Cathedral), Gitarrist Gary Jennings (ex-Cathedral) und Bassist Scott Carlson (Repulsion), hat die Arbeit am Debütalbum »Rotting Civilisation« abgeschlossen. Die Scheibe, die vom Produzenten Jaime Gomez Arellano in den Orgone Studios aufgenommen und gemischt wurde, erscheint via Rise Above Records. Ursprünglich 1994 als Nebenprojekt von Cathedral gegründet, spielten Septic Tank erstmals am 3. Mai 2013 als Vorgruppe für Repulsion und Necrophagia in London. Im selben Jahr brachte die Band auch ihre bis dato einzige EP heraus.
Das erste Album der Briten erscheint über Dorrians Label Rise Above Records und bietet metallischen Hardcore, beeinflusst von Bands wie Discharge, Hellhammer, Motörhead, Septic Death & Siege.
