»From The Hip«, das im Sommer 1983 im Rockfield Studio aufgenommen wurde, war das dritte Album der Band für Factory und das erste, das eine zugänglichere musikalische Richtung einschlug, vor allem dank der neuen Mitglieder Jenny Cassidy und Angela Flowers, die sich Larry und Vin Cassidy und Lee Shallcross anschlossen. Es ist das einzige Mal, dass Bernard Sumner sich bereit erklärt, ein ganzes Album für einen anderen Künstler zu produzieren, und liegt zwischen den klassischen New Order-Alben »Power Corruption & Lies« und »Low-Life«.
Factory Benelux präsentiert ein erweitertes 4xCD (53 Tracks) Remaster von »From The Hip«, dem bahnbrechenden 1984er Elektro-Album der Factory Records Kultband Section 25, produziert von Bernard Sumner von New Order.
