Mit Sarah Connor wird es nie langweilig, denn die deutsche Pop- und Soulsängerin ist gewissermaßen ein Multitalent. Im zarten Alter von 21 Jahren hatte sie ihren großen Durchbruch, es folgten neun Studioalben, eine Dokusoap über ihr Eheleben mit Sänger Marc Terenzi und ein Job als Jurymitglied in den ersten drei Staffeln der Castingshow »X Factor«.

2015 gab es nach fünf Jahren musikalischer Pause eine weitere Überraschung: Sarah Connor veröffentlichte ihr erstes Album auf Deutsch, mit dem sie sofort die Charts eroberte. Dass das Ganze auch live mehr als gut funktioniert, beweist sie mit »Muttersprache Live – Ganz nah«.

Sarah Connor auf Deutsch? Ja, und zwar hautnah.

Bereits im Mai 2015 erschien Sarah Connors lang erwartetes neuntes Studioalbum »Muttersprache«, ihre erste Platte auf Deutsch, mit der sie Platz eins der nationalen Albumcharts belegte. »Muttersprache Live – Ganz nah« heißt das Livependant: ein 90-minütiger Mitschnitt ihres Konzertes vom 11. Oktober aus dem Rolf-Liebermann-Studio in Hamburg.

Vor allem Stücke von ihrem neuen Album gab die Pop- und Soulsängerin an diesem Abend zum Besten. Gemeinsam mit ihrer Band und begleitet von Streichern performte Connor insgesamt 18 Songs, darunter »Bedingungslos«, »Anorak« und natürlich ihre Hitsingle »Wie schön du bist«. Weitere Highlights waren ihr Gregor-Meyle-Cover »Keine ist wie du«, dass sie bereits in der TV-Sendung »Sing meinen Song – das Tauschkonzert« sang, ein Medley ihrer Lieder »French Kissing«, »Let’s Get Back To Bed – Boy!«, »Bounce« und »From Zero To Hero« sowie eine exklusive Akustikversion ihres 2001er Nummer-eins-Hits »From Sarah With Love«.

Alle 18 Songs gibt es jetzt mit »Muttersprache Live – Ganz nah« auf Doppel-CD, DVD und Blu-ray oder in der Deluxe Edition mit Doppel-CD plus DVD. Der Titelzusatz »Ganz nah« kommt dabei nicht von ungefähr, denn dank hoher Bildbrillanz und Dolby-Surround-Sound zeigen die Mitschnitte die Sängerin live in bester Qualität und authentisch wie nie.

Für echte Sarah-Connor-Fans hat sich die Sängerin noch einen ganz besonderen Leckerbissen ausgedacht. »Muttersprache Live – Ganz nah« ist zudem als exklusive Fan-Edition erhältlich.
