Die amerikanische Country-Singer-Songwriterin und Fiddle-Spielerin Roselea Arbana »Rose« Maddox (1925-1998) war die Leadsängerin der Maddox Brothers and Rose, bevor sie eine erfolgreiche Solokarriere startete.
Ihre Musikstile mischten Hillbilly-Musik, Rockabilly und Gospel. Die Maddox Brothers- Gruppe löste sich 1957 auf, aber diese Tatsache beendete nicht Roses Karriere. Tatsächlich hatte sie zwischen 1959 und 1964 14 Hits in den Billboard-Country- Single-Charts.
Ihr größter Hit »Sing a Little Song of Heartache« (hier als Bonus enthalten) erreichte Ende 1962 Platz 3 der Country-Charts .
