The SACD uses a higher digital resolution than the audio CD and also offers the possibility to store multi-channel sound (surround sound). To enjoy the music in high-end quality, a special SACD player is required. Thanks to the hybrid function, most of the products marked "SACD" in our store can also be played on conventional CD players. In this case, however, the sound does not differ from that of a normal CD. In case of deviations, we point this out separately (non-hybrid).

Wo manche Sänger Leidenschaft mit Raserei verwechseln, ist Flack selbstbewusst, majestätisch und gelassen – auf eine intensive, tiefgründige, aber auf ihre Art zurückhaltende Weise. Der Titelsong dieses meisterhaften 8-Track-Albums wurde zu ihrem zweiten Nummer-1-Hit und etablierte sie schnell als bedeutende R&B-Interpretin ihrer Generation.
Sowohl die Medien als auch das Publikum goutierten das fünfte Album der Künstlerin: Die Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) zeichnete »Killing Me Softly« zunächst mit Gold-Status und im Jahr 2006 schließlich mit Doppel-Platin aus! Es wurde für einen Grammy Award als Album des Jahres nominiert, zog jedoch gegen Stevie Wonders Album »Innervisions« den Kürzeren. Der Titelsong wurde als Single veröffentlicht, führte lange die Billboard Hot 100 an und gewann 1974 den Grammy Award für die Single des Jahres.
