Neues Gewand
Normalerweise kennt man Rise Against als laut und mitreißend, so, wie es sich eben für eine Hardcore-Punk-Band gehört.
Dass das Quartett aus Chicago aber auch ganz anders kann, zeigen sie 2018 mit ihrem Album »The Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1«.
Dafür haben sie sich ein paar ihrer Songs noch einmal vorgeknüpft und ihnen ein völlig neues musikalisches Gewand verpasst.

Die Facetten von Rise Against
Da haben sich die Herren von Rise Agianst aber mal etwas ganz Besonderes ausgedacht: »Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1« heißt ihr neues Compilationalbum.
Es handelt sich dabei aber nicht bloß um ein Best-of. Für die Neuauflage hat die Punk- und Hardcore-Band die Stücke nämlich komplett überarbeitet, sie akustisch orchestriert und mit einer alternativen Instrumentierung neu eingespielt.
Aufgenommen wurde »Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1« im Blasting Room Studio in Fort Collins, Colorado zusammen mit den Produzenten Bill Stevenson und Jason Livermore.
Als Promotion-Single erschien bereits im letzten Jahr der Song »House On Fire«.
So hat man diese Songs garantiert noch nie gehört: Mit »Ghost Note Symphonies, Vol. 1« zeigen Rise Against 2018, wie facettenreich sie selbst und vor allem ihre Songs sind.
