Die neue Inkarnation von Rainbow live in Deutschland
Im Juni 2016 waren keine Geringeren als Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow für drei Konzerte in Europa: eins in England und zwei in Deutschland, genauer genommen auf der Freilichtbühne Loreley und in Bietigheim im Zuge des neu aufgelegten »Monsters Of Rock«-Festivals.
»Memories In Rock - Live In Germany 2016« heißt das neue Live-Best-of, das die beiden Shows dokumentiert, und zwar in Bild und Ton.
Für seine neueste Inkarnation der Band Rainbow holte sich Gitarrist Blackmore die Unterstützung von Ronnie Romero (Gesang), David Keith (Schlagzeug), Bob Nouveau (Bass), Jens Johansson (Keyboards), Candice Night (Backgroundgesang) und Lady Lynn (Backgroundgesang).
Gemeinsam performten sie auf der Bühne verschiedene Klassiker – sowohl von Deep Purple als auch von Rainbow. Insgesamt 14 Songs haben es jetzt auf »Memories In Rock - Live In Germany 2016« geschafft, darunter unter anderem »Highway Star« und »Smoke On The Water«, »Since You’ve Been Gone«, »Man On The Silver Mountain« und viele weitere.
Neben der Doppel-CD gibt es »Memories In Rock - Live In Germany 2016« auf DVD, Blu-ray sowie als Deluxe-Earbook. Darin enthalten sind sowohl die Doppel-CD als auch DVD, Blu-ray und ein 48-seitiges Hardcoverbuch. Vinylfreunde kommen zudem mit dem 3-LPs-Set (180g) auf ihre Kosten.
2016 spielten die legendären Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow ein paar besondere Reunionkonzerte. »Memories In Rock - Live In Germany 2016« hält jetzt zwei dieser Livespektakel für die Ewigkeit fest.
