Mit „Reach For The Sky“ aus dem Jahr 1988 kehrte Ratt in die Top 20 der Billboard Top 200 Albumcharts zurück und erreichte Platz 17. Angetrieben vom bluesigen Hit und MTV-Liebling „Way Cool Jr.“ wurde „Reach For The Sky“ mit Platin ausgezeichnet und war Ratts viertes Album in Folge, das sich weit über eine Million Mal verkaufte. „I Want A Woman“ war ebenfalls eine erfolgreiche Single und das Video fing die Aufregung und Energie von Ratt live ein.
