Zum 10. Geburtstag von »Blood Of The Saints« legen Powerwolf den Longplayer 2021 noch einmal neu auf, und zwar in drei verschiedenen 10th Anniversary Editions.
»Blood Of The Saints« ist das vierte Studioalbum der deutschen Power-Metal-Band aus Saarbrücken. Es erschien ursprünglich am 29. Juli 2011 als Nachfolger von »Bible Of The Beast« aus dem Jahr 2009. Die Platte wurde mit Fredrik Nordström und Henrik Udd im Studio Fredman in Göteborg, Schweden aufgenommen. Bei der Erstveröffentlichung schaffte es das Album auf einen damals beeindruckenden Platz 23 der offiziellen deutschen Charts.
»Wenn wir auf die Ära von ›Blood Of The Saints‹ zurückblicken, war es eine intensive und wunderbare Zeit, in der wir viel gelernt haben, unsere Touraktivitäten ausweiten konnten und sowohl mit der Veröffentlichung des Albums als auch auf der Tour viele neue Hörer gefunden haben«, so Lead- und Rhythmusgitarrist Matthew Greywolf in den Linernotes zu den Jubiläums-Reissues.
Und die kommen als klassisch-schwarze LP und als limitierte LP auf Orange & Red Marbled Vinyl, jeweils als Gatefold-LP mit A1-Poster und Einlegeblatt, sowie als Doppel-CD im Digibook mit dem Originalalbum, einer Demo-Bonus-CD und einem 36-seitigen Booklet. Alle Formate enthalten ein neues Frontcover-Artwork von Zsofia Dankova.
