Poppy ist eine US-amerikanische Sängerin und Songwriterin und erfolgreiche Youtuberin bzw. Influencerin. Aufgewachsen in Nashville, Tennessee, zog sie 2014 nach Los Angeles, um eine Karriere als Musikerin zu verfolgen. Dort unterzeichnete sie bei Island Records und veröffentlichte ihre Debüt-EP mit dem Namen Bubblebath. Es folgten drei Pop-Alben. Doch die sanften Zeiten hat Poppy hinter sich gelassen.
Mit neuem Record Deal mit dem US-Rock/Heavy-Label Sumerian Records (Asking Alexandria, Sleeping With Sirens) im Rücken, hat sich die ikonische Poppy komplett neu erfunden. Ihre neuen Songs »Concrete« oder »I Disagree« zeigen sie als Frontfrau einer schlagkräftigen Metal-Band, die Progressive Rock und Metalcore mit Pop fusioniert und textlich sowie inhaltlich die Genre Grenzen auslotet.
