Pone ist einer der Gründer von The Fonky Family: eine französische Hip-Hop-Band aus den 90er Jahren. Er hat viele Gold- und Platinplatten gewonnen. Seit 2015 durch amyotrophe Lateralsklerose (ALS) gelähmt, auch bekannt als Charcot-Krankheit, begann er im Januar 2019 wieder zu produzieren.
Seitdem hat er das erste Album in Geschichte, die nur mit Augen geschrieben, gemacht und gemischt wird, genannt Kate & Me. Pone verwendete Samples von Kate Bush, der dieses Album gewidmet ist. Das Ergebnis ist eine emotionale, raumgreifende Platte mit Sci-Fi-Qualität.
