»Battle For The Sun« ist das sechste Studioalbum von Placebo. Es erschien ursprünglich am 5. Juni 2009. Es war der erste Longplayer, an dem der damals neu zur Band gestoßene Schlagzeuger Steve Forrest mitwirkte.
»Battle For The Sun« landete in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz auf Platz eins der Albumcharts. Im UK immerhin auf der Acht.
