Die aus Amsterdam stammende Band Pip Blom veröffentlichen ihr zweites Album »Welcome Break« via Heavenly Recordings.
Sofern ihr Debütalbum »Boat« (VÖ 2019) als frischer, aber herrlich furchtloser Game-Changer galt, ist »Welcome Break« das selbstbewusste, ältere Geschwisterchen, das mit ein oder zwei zusätzlichen Jahren im Rücken, keine Angst hat, mit lässigem Songwriting und Wohlfühl-Refrains zeitgenössisches Indie-Pop-Chaos anzustiften.
Das Quartett hat ein Händchen für Popsongs und so sind 11 neue Tracks entstanden, die von der Band selbst produziert und in den Big Jelly Studios in Ramsgate aufgenommen worden sind.
