Die Hardrock / Glam / Heavy Metal Band Pink Cream 69 wurde 1987 in Karlsruhe gegründet. Die von Andi Deris angeführte Band wurde schnell zur wichtigsten deutschen Melodic Metal Gruppe der späten 80s. Auf ihrem dritten Longplayer »Games People Play«, ursprünglich 1993 auf Epic Records veröffentlicht, war der Sound härter und düsterer als auf ihren Vorgängeralben. »Games People Play« bildet den Abschluss der Ära von Sänger Andi Deris, der »The Pinkies« verließ, um der neue Frontmann von Deutschlands führenden Rockern Helloween zu werden.
Laut vieler Fans ist dieses Album mit Songs wie »Face In The Mirror«, »Keep Your Eye On The Twisted« und »Somedays I Sail« das beste Pink Cream 69 Album.
