OneRepublic veröffentlichen ihren neuen Konzertfilm »OneRepublic: Live In South Africa«, ein absolutes Live-Highlight ihrer inzwischen über 10-jährigen Karriere.
An jenem Abend im »Ticketpro Dome« (damals noch »The Coca-Cola Dome«) von Johannesburg präsentierte die Band – bestehend aus dem Grammy-Gewinner Ryan Tedder, den Gitarristen Zach Filkins und Drew Brown, Bassist Brent Kutzle sowie Schlagzeuger Eddie Fisher sämtliche ihrer Hits, unter anderem natürlich Klassiker wie »Counting Stars«, »Apologize«, »All The Right Moves« und »If I Lose Myself«.
Doch nicht nur der Konzertmitschnitt weiß zu begeistern, sondern auch die sehr intime Dokumentation, welche die nicht immer problemlose Entwicklung der Band in exklusiven Bildern Schritt für Schritt nachzeichnet. Die Band spricht dabei in Interviews ganz offen über diese Stationen und wirft zugleich einen Blick in die Zukunft.
Als weitere Boni gibt es bis dato unveröffentlichtes Archivmaterial und einen Live-Mitschnitt von »Wherever I Go«, live aus dem Sydney Harbour.
