Ihrer Karriere! ›Black As Pitch‹ präsentiert die gewalttätigste Einstellung, die die italienischen Black-Thrasher je gezeigt haben! Die Recording Sessions fanden erneut in den Schwedischen Underground Studios, mit Produzent Pelle Saether, statt.
›Black As Pitch‹, das von der Kritik als die natürliche Weiterentwicklung von ›Mater Of All Evil‹ gelobt wurde, bestätigte einmal mehr die Führungsposition der Band in der italienischen Szene und erwies sich als das am meisten gefeierte Necrodeath-Album in Amerika und Asien. Die Band nahm auch am ›Tattoo the Planet Festival‹ in Mailand / Italien teil – zusammen mit Slayer, Soulfly, Children Of Bodom und Moonspell.
