Alles begann im letzten Jahr mit einem großen Experiment. »The Grand Experiment« heißt das Studiodebüt der nach ihrem Frontmann benannten Progressive-Rock-Supergroup.
Für die hatte sich der Sänger, Multiinstrumentalist, Komponist und Texter nämlich mit dem »Who is who« des Rocks zusammengetan, darunter und Mike Portnoy (Gesang, Schlagzeug), Randy George (Gesang, Bass), Eric Gillette (Gesang, Leadgitarre) und Bill Hubauer (Gesang, Keyboard, Gitarre, Klarinette, Saxofon).
Nach dem Erfolg des Albums ging die Band erst einmal auf eine umfassende Welttournee. Dabei machten sie am 6. März 2015 Station in »De Boerderij« in der niederländischen Gemeinde Zoetermeer. Mit »Alive Again« gibt es jetzt ein Set aus Livealbum und Konzertfilm plus Tourdokumentation, das diesen legendären Auftritt in Bild und Ton wiedergibt, und zwar auf zwei CDs und DVD.
Nach ihrem großartigen Debütalbum folgt jetzt mit »Alive Again« das ebenso gelungene erste Livealbum der Neal Morse Band. Ein echtes Highlight für alle Progressive-Jünger.
