NWA - EFIL4ZAGGIN

Schöne 180g Pressung. Sogar mit gefütterter Innenhülle, was heutzutage nicht selbstverständlich ist. Über das Album muss man nichts sagen - absoluter Klassiker und beginn des Westcoast G-Funk mit derben Texten. Dre produziert besser noch als zu Straight Outta Compton und rappt auch mehr nach Cube's ausstieg. Brutal und roh wobei die Texte nicht gerade zum identifizieren geeignet sind gefällt mir besonders, dass auch Eazy paar witzige Songs mit drauf hat. Alles gut bis auf ein Textblatt und die Songs, die nur auf der Cd sind. Wenn schon ein Re-Release in 180g, warum kein Dopplalbum mit allen Tracks? Nicht mal auf dem Downloadcode. Schade!! Sonst alles gut!! Viele meinen die Back to Black Serie ist qualitativ schlecht oder hat Mängel. Da hab ich bis jetzt größtenteils Glück gehabt. Nur bei 'The Chronic 2001' hört man drei ,vier skips (Hopser) recht laut. Glücklicherweise im Intro.

Das Ende...

N.W.A.'s 2. und letztes Album (100Miles and Runnin' war nur eine EP) wird nun also auch im Zuge der Back on Black Serie von Universal wiederveröffentlicht. Cover 1:1 Replik zum Original-Release (inkl. Credits zu Real Niggaz, welches nur auf der CD Version enthalten war), also kein 3D Cover, wie jpc schreibt. Weißes, gefüttertes Innersleeve und ordentliches (optisch) 180g Vinyl.
Musikalisch gibt's hier Höhen und Tiefen. Die Gangsta-Klischees werden weiterhin gepflegt, es wird ordentlich gedisst (Richtung Ice Cube) und über 'Bitches' hergezogen. Sicher ist das Alben nicht annähernd so revolutionär wie das Debut 'Straight Outta Compton', aber dennoch nicht zuletzt wegen der ersten G-Funk Klänge ein 'Chronic' Vorbote.
Leider lässt die Wiedergabequalität des Vinyls zu wünschen übrig, wie so oft bei GZ Vinyl (ehemals Czechsky Grammophon). Trotz oberflächlich cleanem Vinyl bleibt ein dauerhaftes Rauschen und Knistern deutlich zu hören, wie das halt billiges Vinyl so mit sich bringt.
Die LP würde ich jedem Hip-Hop Fan empfehlen, jedoch lieber als original Vinyl oder anderem Reissue.
