Am 12. November 2021 erscheint die Blu-ray Special Edition "Moby Reprise" & "Moby Doc" bei Deutsche Grammophon. Die Sonderedition bietet nicht nur Klassisches von einer Kultfigur der elektronischen Musik auf CD, sondern auch eine Blu-ray mit einer Fülle von Visuellem, darunter das 90-minütige surreale Biopic "Moby Doc".
In "Moby Doc" erzählt Moby von seiner Musik und seinem turbulenten Leben – vom Underground-Punk zum Chartstürmer als Solokünstler, vom verlorenen Süchtigen zum veganen Aktivisten. Der Dokumentarfilm ist ein Mix aus Re-Enactment und Archivmaterial und enthält Interviews mit David Lynch und David Bowie sowie seltene Konzertmitschnitte. Neben dem Film und einem Surround Mix in Dolby Atmos von Mobys erfolgreichem Album "Reprise" mit zwei Bonustracks gewähren Videos einen Blick hinter die Kulissen. Zu sehen sind Amythyst Kiah und Gregory Porter bei der Aufnahme von "Natural Blues", aber auch die Making-of-Produktionen für "Porcelain", "The Lonely Night", "Natural Blues", "God Moving Over The Face Of The Waters", "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?", "The Great Escape" und Mobys Tribut an Bowie: "Heroes". In Musikclips werden "Natural Blues", "Why Does My Heart Feel So Bad?" und "Extreme Ways" lebendig.
