Letztes Jahr feierten Metallica das 20-jährige Jubiläum ihres legendären zweiten Livealbums, des Orchesteralbums »S&M«.Dafür spielten die Metallegenden im September ein mehr als zweistündiges Konzert im Chase Center in San Francisco, und zwar wieder gemeinsam mit dem San Francisco Symphony Orchestra.
2020 kommt mit »S&M2« der Mitschnitt dieser besonderen Performance, und zwar in Bild und Ton.
Das Livealbum bzw. der Konzertfilm versammelt Metallica-Klassiker des »S&M«-Albums aus dem Jahr 1999 sowie Songs der nachfolgenden Alben, natürlich ebenfalls als Orchesterversionen.
»S&M« gibt es als Doppel-CD, als DVD und Blu-ray Disc, als Doppel-CD inklusive DVD, als 4-LP-Set und als Deluxe Box mit vier farbigen LPs, Doppel-CD, einer Blu-ray Disc und ein paar spannenden Extras.
