Die in New York lebende Musikerin ist von einem tiefen Verlust geprägt und sortiert diesen Schmerz, um unauslöschliche Fragmente von Weisheit zusammenzusetzen.
Produziert von Glaspy zusammen mit ihrem Partner, dem Gitarristen/Komponisten Julian Lage, baut es auf der frenetischen Vitalität ihres viel beachteten Debüts Emotions and Math auf. Für das neue Album nahm Glaspy mit dem Bassisten Chris Morrissey (Andrew Bird, Lucius, Ben Kweller) und dem Schlagzeuger/Perkussionisten David King von The Bad Plus auf.
