Gänsehaut-Stimmung mitten im Sommer: Die finnischen Monster von LORDI veröffentlichen eine brandneue DVD über AFM Records. Neben dem Live-Mitschnitt der Pratteln (Schweiz)-Show der jüngst zurückliegenden »Sextourcism«-Tour, befindet sich darauf jede Menge Bonusmaterial, manches davon mit echtem Raritäten-Charakter.
Obwohl es bereits Live-DVDs von LORDI gibt, so ist diese die erste offizielle Veröffentlichung der Band, welche die Musiker in ihrem finalen Stadium abgesegnet haben. Ein Plan, der bereits seit etlichen Jahren auf dem Tisch der Monster lag. Mr. Lordi dazu: »Ich bin sehr froh, dass wir bis zur ›Sextourcism‹-Tour damit gewartet haben, denn wir sehen gut aus, die Bühne sieht gut aus und irgendwie passte alles, um eine spektakuläre DVD entstehen zu lassen.«
Spektakulär gestaltet sich auch das enthaltene Bonusmaterial. Neben einer Dokumentation über einen Tag auf Tour, befinden sich alle offiziellen Videoclips darauf, die die Band bislang gedreht hat. Darunter ist eine echte Rarität, nämlich das allererste offizielle Musikvideo zum Song »Inferno«, entstanden 1995.
