Als Perttu Koivunen und Niko Kolehmainen Lord Fist 2011 gründeten, nahmen sie in kaum einem halben Jahrzehnt rasch Fahrt auf, indem sie je ein Demo, eine EP und ein Album aufnahmen, während sie dem Clubpublikum ihrer Heimat Finnland beibrachten, dass Metal keinen Zuckerzusatz braucht, um zu berauschen. Innerhalb eines von der NWobHM beeinflussten stilistischen Rahmens erinnert der Sound von Lord Fist an ihre Landsleute Nightstryke, Legionnaire oder Angel Sword.
