Einer seiner Songs entfachte eine wahre Revolution als Lonnie Donegans 1956 Hit Rock Island Line nicht nur die Beatles, sondern nahezu alle hereinflutenden britischen Rock & Roller mit einer neuen Art Musik namens Skiffle inspirierte.
